ALBANY, NY (08/27/2010)(readMedia)-- "The Great New York State Fair is one of the biggest attractions in all of the Empire State ," said State Labor Commissioner Colleen C. Gardner. "The Department of Labor was there even before the Fair began to make sure that amusement rides were safe and that employers there were aware of state labor laws. And we'll be there right to the end at booth 47 in the Center of Progress Building to help New Yorkers find jobs, help businesses with information on tax incentives to help them grow and we even have an unemployment insurance representative to answer questions. We're eager to help and ready to help New Yorkers get back to work."
