Theater manager thought winning ticket was a mistake
NIAGARA FALLS, NY (02/18/2010)(readMedia)-- A Niagara Falls woman has claimed the $1,000,000 top prize on the New York Lottery's Smooth 7's instant game. The winner, a working mother of three, said she thought she "scratched the ticket the wrong way" when she revealed the "jackpot" symbol that made her an instant millionaire.
The 54-year-old winner will receive her over-sized prize check from Lottery drawing emcee (and Tonawanda native) Gretchen Dizer, at the Tops market where the new millionaire purchased her winning ticket.
