ELKINS, WV (01/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Davis & Elkins College senior Nicole 'Cole' Dant has been named to the Atlantic All-Region third team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. A Physical Education major, Dant is the daughter of Philip and Velvet Dant of Elkton, Maryland. The forward scored 11 goals and recorded four assists in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) 2011 season and recorded three goals and two assists in the first round of championship play. Dant was named Freshman of the Year in 2007 and was named to the first team All-WVIAC four years. She is also a four-time All-Region player and was Region Player of the Year in 2009. A two-time All-American (2007 &2008), Dant has earned an overall 4.0 GPA.

Related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), Davis & Elkins College is located in Elkins, WV, two hours east of Charleston, three hours south of Pittsburgh and four hours west of Washington, DC.
