Nicole DeLuca of East Stroudsburg to Attend UN Climate Change Conference

YORK, PA (11/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Nicole DeLuca of East Stroudsburg, a York College junior majoring in chemistry, will travel to Doha, Qatar, from Dec. 1 – 10 to participate in the annual United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 18th Conference of Parties (COP 18). DeLuca is representing the American Chemical Society (ACS) as a delegate with UN accreditation.

She will be joined by fellow York College student John Siller, a senior chemistry major from Flemington, N.J. Three teleconferences have been set up at York College so that the students may share their experience with the campus and local community. They are scheduled for 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. on Dec. 4; and noon – 12:45 p.m. and 1 – 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 5.
