North Colonie Art Students to Exhibit Work at NYSUT
LATHAM, NY (06/08/2007)(readMedia)-- New York State United Teachers will host the 3rd Annual North Colonie School District’s student art show from Monday, June 11 to the end of the month in the union’s headquarters building. The opening reception will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday with remarks, live classical music and refreshments.
Included in the exhibit is work from grades K through 12, sculptures, paintings, mixed media, drawings and computer art. More than 150 pieces will be on display, all produced by students from the classrooms of 17 North Colonie art teachers.
NYSUT represents more than 585,000 teachers, school-related professionals, academic and professional faculty in higher education, professionals in education and health care and retirees. NYSUT is affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers, National Education Association and the AFL-CIO.
