Norwalk resident Liz Young choreographs dance in Connecticut College's 'Woven'

NEW LONDON, CT (04/30/2010)(readMedia)-- Liz Young, a dance major and member of the Class of 2010 at Connecticut College, choreographed a dance in "Woven," the senior thesis dance concert. The concert was April 22-24 in Connecticut College's Palmer Auditorium.

Young, a 2006 graduate of Norwalk High School, is the daughter of William and Laurie Young of Norwalk.

Young's piece, "Ten Offensive Things," featured 10 dancers and was set to music by Johnny Thunders, the Heartbreakers and Jennifer Hudson. "Woven" also featured choreography by seven other Connecticut College senior dance majors, Dance Professor Lisa Race and guest artist Rachel Boggia.
