Nottingham Resident Paul E. Finn, Ph.D. Receives Alumni Award from Saint Anselm College

MANCHESTER, NH (12/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Manchester, N.H.- Nottingham resident Paul E. Finn, Ph.D. was one of five recipients to receive an Alumni Association Award from his alma mater, Saint Anselm College on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Dr. Finn of the class of 1973, received the Walter J. Gallo '58 Award for his dedication and service to Saint Anselm College as an outstanding teacher, coach, and mentor.
As a longtime member of the college psychology department, Dr. Finn has received the American Psychological Association's honor society (Psi Chi) National Faculty Award and was honored as a Fellow of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards. At Saint Anselm College's commencement in May, he received the 2013 AAUP Excellence in Faculty Accomplishment Award, which noted his commitment to teaching excellence and the development of the "whole person."
Dr. Finn has also coached Saint Anselm College's men's and women's cross-country teams for more than nine years. He is advisor and coach of the college's track club and founded a "Running for Life" group, which trains students, alumni and others for a marathon. In April 2013 on the day of the Boston Marathon bombing, he was responsible for the safe return to campus of more than 40 runners and supporters.
