Nursing Students to Participate in Triage Day

DANVILLE , IL (03/30/2016)(readMedia)-- Some Lakeview College of Nursing students and instructors will take on the role of patient as well as health care provider as they participate in the College's upcoming Triage Day.

The Triage Day is a boot camp environment that helps prepare senior-level nursing students for the end of their final semester in the program. This special day will be held on Thursday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Lakeview's Danville Campus, located at 903 N. Logan Ave. in Danville, IL.

Students of all levels as well as faculty have been invited to participate in this event in order to learn and play the many roles that are necessary to the triage process. There will also be a guest speaker from the Vermilion County Disaster Agency.
