O'Connell & Aronowitz Announces Expansion of Saratoga Practice to Include David W. Morris, Esq, As of Counsel

ALBANY, NY (12/08/2010)(readMedia)-- The Albany-based law firm of O'Connell and Aronowitz continues its expansion in Saratoga County with the announcement that long-time legal and community leader, David W. Morris, Esq., has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mr. Morris will join Matthew J. Dorsey, Esq., managing attorney in the Saratoga Springs office, located at 1 Court Street.

As a long-time resident and representative of Saratoga Springs, Mr. Morris has had a distinguished business career, including General Counsel, President and General Manager of Saratoga Raceway. Mr. Morris served as Director of the Harness Tracks of America and the United States Trotting Association. He was a Founder and Director of the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau. Active in the Saratoga community, he has volunteered as an American Cancer Society driver, and he was Director of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Northeastern New York.

Mr. Morris' legal career has been equally distinguished. He is a graduate of Union College and Albany Law School, and served from 1984 through 1997 as a Trustee and Vice-Chair of the Albany Law School Board of Trustees. Admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and as a member of the Saratoga County Bar Association, Mr. Morris' practice in Albany and Saratoga Springs has focused primarily in the areas of public sector labor negotiations, education law, real estate and arbitration.
