The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) provides a broad range of support services that facilitate the operations of State government, and also assists local governments, public authorities, public and private agencies. The OGS Design and Construction Group provide a full range of architectural, engineering and construction management services to state agencies.
The OGS Design and Construction Group also selects qualified consultants to provide diversified services. These services may include: architectural and engineering design, land surveying, construction management, hazardous materials sampling, and materials testing.
The Office of General Services requires the participation of Minority and Women-Owned Businesses in its procurements. Accordingly, the Commissioner of General Services requires that Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) and minority and women employees are given the opportunity to participate in the OGS procurement and construction programs.
