OGS to Hold Public Auction of 150 North Brandywine Schenectady

ALBANY, NY (03/08/2010)(readMedia)-- New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner John C. Egan today announced that OGS will hold a public auction on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 of 150 North Brandywine Avenue, Schenectady. The auction will be held at the New York State Department of Transportation Building, 50 Wolf Road, Albany, New York. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. and registration begins at 9:00 a.m.

Open Houses will be held on Wednesday, March 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additional site inspections can be scheduled by calling 518-474-2195.

Interested bidders will be required to show an initial deposit of $6,500 in the form of a certified check or bank check in order to register. Checks should be made payable to the bidder.

Description of Property For Sale:

The property being auctioned is a two-story wood-frame house on a concrete block foundation consisting of 3,256± square feet, circa 1900. The house features a kitchen, dining and living rooms, several rooms used as offices and/or bedrooms, and a full bath on both the first and second floors.
