FACT:

One in every 150 people younger than 22 is diagnosed with autism.

Autism is a pervasive issue in our society. On Wednesday, May 28, in the New York State Capitol Blue Room, the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities will announce a major new initiative to address this growing concern. OMRDD Commissioner Diana Jones Ritter will be joined by key lawmakers and individuals with autism and their families.
