ALBANY, NY (07/09/2008)(readMedia)-- Barack Obama's fundraising trip to New York City highlights many unanswered questions that have surrounded his candidacy.
He has not given an explanation as to why he would not meet John McCain in New York City for an open town hall meeting, yet he has said he would meet with the kind of terrorists and tyrants who are openly testing dangerous missile systems.
He has not explained why he backed away from his commitment to publicly financed elections, and instead travels here and around to the country to raise special interest cash.
He has not presented a clear agenda of how he would address the nation's challenges, and offers only vague generalities or conflicting responses on the economy, tax relief, foreign affairs, addressing our energy issues and a host of others.
New Yorkers and Americans demand answers and results, yet with Barack Obama we are instead left with more questions and lingering doubts about his experience and his judgment.
Now more than ever, New Yorkers and Americans need a man of character and vision who has answers to our questions and can deliver the real results people deserve. We need John McCain.
