Ohio Wesleyan Inducts New Members into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society

Ohio Wesleyan University inducted new members into its Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at a campus ceremony May 10.

The new inductees join a national academic honor society that counts 17 U.S. presidents, 40 Supreme Court justices, and more than 140 Nobel laureates among its members.

Nationwide, only 10 percent of all U.S. colleges and universities have Phi Beta Kappa chapters, and each of the 286 chapters selects only 10 percent of its graduates to join annually through a highly selective, merit-based invitation process.
