Ohio Wesleyan Students Serve Others during Spring Break
Two teams of Ohio Wesleyan University students spent a week helping others as part of OWU's annual Spring Break Service Week program.
One group traveled to Lakota Nation, South Dakota, and worked with the Lakota Youth Development, a nonprofit organization located on the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Reservation. The other traveled to South Carolina, and worked to improve trails at a state park and prepare urban garden spaces within a framework of centering Black students in a space of belonging. They traveled between March 9 and March 17, 2024.
Congratulations to all involved for a successful week of life-changing learning and service!
