Organ Named Star of the Week by NCHA

The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced their Three Stars of the Week, with junior Tim Organ of Lambertville, Michigan, representing the Trine University men's hockey program.

Before the beginning of the season, the NCHA announced that rather than choosing an offensive and defensive player of the week they would instead select the three starts of the week, mirroring the traditional three stars of the game.

Organ becomes the first member of the Thunder to earn the new award. It is the first time that he has earned any NCHA weekly award.

Organ helped lead the way for Trine to secure two wins over the University of Dubuque by scoring a team-high five points. On Friday, Nov. 3, he assisted on the game winning goal before scoring his own in the third period. Then on Saturday he finished the night with another goal and two assists.
