Ozone Park Native Isaac Acosta Captures Men's Open Doubles Title in Handball

The junior from Lake Forest College defeated a team from Missouri State for the national title.

LAKE FOREST, IL (02/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Junior Isaac Acosta (Ozone Park, N.Y.) and his doubles partner freshman C.J. Laffey (Park Ridge, Ill.) of Lake Forest College edged Missouri State's Jonathan Hingey and Jeff Streibig for the Men's Open Doubles title in handball on Saturday in Springfield, Missouri.

Acosta and Laffey won by scores of 21-19, 21-9.  In addition, Lake Forest wrapped up the Division 1 team titles on Saturday, edging Missouri State.
