PSC Chairman Brown's Schedule for Wednesday, Aug. 31
Hurricane Damage Tours of Westchester and Greene Counties
ALBANY, NY (08/31/2011)(readMedia)-- New York State Public Service Commission Chairman Garry Brown will travel to Westchester County and Greene County to personally see areas affected by Hurricane Irene. Chairman Brown is traveling with Mark S. Lynch, President, New York State Electric & Gas Corp. (NYSEG), the utility serving portions of the affected areas.
1:30 PM: Media Availability: Brown and Lynch, after meeting with officials with the Westchester County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), surveyed damage in Pound Ridge. Chairman Brown and Mr. Lynch will be available to discuss their review at the Town Park parking lot in the Town of Pound Ridge, Westchester Ave., south of Pound Ridge Road.
4:00 PM: Brown and Lynch will survey damage in Prattsville, NY.
5:00 PM: Media Availability: Brown and Lynch will return to the Greene County EOC. The EOC is located at 25 Volunteer Drive, Cairo, NY.
