Page Turner Named All-WVIAC Second Team

ELKINS, WV (03/05/2012)(readMedia)-- Davis & Elkins College junior guard Page Turner was named to the women's basketball All-WVIAC Second Team by the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. A biology major, Turner is the daughter of Robert and Robin Turner of Poquoson, VA. Turner led the team in scoring this year from the point guard position averaging 12.4 points per game. She also led the Senators in assists (136) and steals (52). She started all 28 games and shot a solid 78.8 percent from the free throw line. Turner led the team in scoring on 11 occasions this year.
