Participation in Trevecca's Creative Writing Program
The Cumberland River Review, now in its third year, is a national literary journal produced by Trevecca Nazarene University students under the guidance of Graham Hillard, editor and associate professor of English at Trevecca. This journal accepts submissions from national or international writers at any point in their careers. Featured writers have been graduate students and writers who teach graduate students. In addition to giving at least one writer his first publication ever, the Cumberland River Review has also published work by a National Book Critics Circle Award winner, a state poet laureate, and a winner of the prestigious Yale Series of Younger Poets Award. The latest edition of the publication was released on January 15, 2014, and is available online at http://crr.trevecca.edu/.
