Pastor Charlie Muller, Jezreel International and Feed the Children of Tulsa Form Relief Center for Irene
Relief Effort to Be Ongoing for Those Devastated by Irene
ALBANY, NY (09/06/2011)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Church in Albany has teamed up once again with Jezreel International of Albany and Feed the Children of Tulsa to form the Capital District Relief Center. The Center will be located at the Jezreel facility located at 10 Interstate Avenue in Albany. The Center will target the most devastated and hard to reach homes and areas that have been hit by last week's storm Irene. Jezreel international has partnered in the past with Pastor Charlie on relief efforts, helping to send relief to Haiti as well as 9-11. "It is awesome to have an organization like Jezreel, that is willing to go the extra mile and help those in need. We are honored to work with such an outstanding company," said Pastor Charlie. "There are many families still in dire need of assistance, and it is our goal to try to help as many people as we can get through this awful experience." Trucks will be loaded locally, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 11:00am at the Jezreel facility located at 10 Interstate Avenue in Albany. These trucks will travel to some of the worse areas hit by Irene. Pastor Charlie was in the areas last week with the City Kids Smoothie Truck connecting with local towns and officials, providing food and aid to those in need.
This Saturday, a team of volunteers will begin to fill backpacks donated by the Glenmont Walmart. The Packs will be filled with food and supplies that will be hiked into those remote areas cut off to supply trucks and vehicles. Pastor Charlie will also be connecting with Pat Robertson and Operation Blessing as well as other national relief organizations to get much needed aid to these areas. "This will be an ongoing mission to help those in need, if all of help out just a little, big things can be accomplished." Pastor Charlie
