Local Pastor Is Finalist in National Contest

ALBANY, NY (04/07/2010)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie of Victory Christian Church was selected as one of ten finalists in the nation in the Pinesol Making a Difference Contest. Pastor Charlie is the only male selected as a finalist, and will now be in the running as the grand prize winner. Now the voting will determine the winner.

Pastor Charlie will receive 1000 dollars for being a finalist and 10,000 if he is the winner. The money will go to his effort in fostering children.

Pastor Charlie was a finalist in the BET helping others contest last year, and the winner of this contest will be featured in the national magazine EBONY.

Pastor Charlie was notified Tuesday April 6 and the voting begins today.
