Paul Smith's College appoints new VP of Student Affairs and Campus Life

PAUL SMITHS, NY (07/01/2016)(readMedia)-- A 23-year veteran of higher education has been named vice president of Student Affairs and Campus Life at Paul Smith's College.
Dr. Terry Lindsay begins his new role Friday, July 1.
"I am honored to serve as the next vice president for Student Affairs and Campus Life," Lindsay said. "My immediate goal is to engage students and to work with my colleagues to advance the college's goals and objectives. I look forward to collaborating with campus partners to foster an academic environment that promotes student success and achievement. I am proud to be part of the Paul Smith's family."
Lindsay is the former dean of Diversity and Intercultural Programs at North Park University in Chicago. He also served as the dean of Student Development at Harper College in Palatine, Ill., and as vice president and dean of Student Life at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
He earned a doctorate in education leadership from Agrosy University in Chicago. He also holds a master's in college counseling and student personnel and a bachelor's in African American studies, both from the University of Buffalo.
