Paul Smith's College student-run restaurants dishing up lunch, dinner this summer

PAUL SMITHS, NY (05/24/2016)(readMedia)-- Two student-run restaurants are opening for business this summer on the Paul Smith's College campus.

The St. Regis Café is currently offering a three-course prix fixe lunch menu of sustainable, locally-sourced dishes Wednesdays-Fridays. The Palm at Paul Smith's College will begin serving steaks, seafood and other classic dinner fare Thursdays-Saturdays starting on June 16.

Lunch at the St. Regis features fresh ingredients from Tucker Farms in Gabriels, N.Y.; Asgaard Dairy in Au Sable Forks, N.Y.; Juniper Hill Farm in Wadhams, N.Y.; and several other local sources. The dining room, which overlooks Lower St. Regis Lake, is located in the Joan Weill Student Center.

Dinner at the Palm features a menu and dining experience inspired by the legendary Palm steakhouses, co-owned by Paul Smith's alum Wally Ganzi. The intimate space, which is located in Cantwell Hall, is lined with framed caricatures in the spirit of the original Palm in New York City.

The meals at both facilities are prepared and served by Paul Smith's College students. Hours at both establishments will vary throughout the summer. Visit paulsmiths.edu/eat for information on reservations and more.
