Pelham resident Conor McCormick-Cavanagh elected Representative of Student Activities Council at CT College

NEW LONDON, CT (05/18/2011)(readMedia)-- Conor McCormick-Cavanagh, a freshman at Connecticut College, has been elected representative of the Student Activities Council (SAC) for the 2011-2012 academic year.

SAC is responsible for developing and implementing major campus events including the College's Harvest Fest, Winter Formal and Floralia, the College's spring celebration. SAC also works throughout the year to provide a wide array of events including dances and concerts, to enhance the social scene on campus.

McCormick-Cavanagh, a 2010 graduate of Pelham Memorial High School, is the son of Renee McCormick of Pelham and William Cavanagh also of Pelham.
