Philip Schuh Appointed Executive Vice President of Medical Society of the State of New York

WESTBURY, NY (12/03/2012)(readMedia)-- Philip Schuh, CPA, has been named the Executive Vice President of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY). After serving as Interim Executive Vice President since March of 2012, Mr. Schuh's appointment was unanimously approved by both MSSNY's Board of Trustees and Council for the Medical Society's top leadership position. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer.

In 1988, Mr. Schuh joined MSSNY's statewide health consultation subsidiary, the Empire State Medical, Scientific and Educational Foundation, Inc., as Chief Executive Officer. In 1990, he also assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer of MSSNY. As the Executive Vice President, Mr. Schuh will be responsible for the operations of the organization and implementation of policy and coordination of staff activity at MSSNY's two offices located in Westbury, Long Island and Albany.

Mr. Schuh and his wife, Barbara, reside in Brooklyn.
