Phoenixville Resident Michael Coleman Graduates from Drexel University with a Perfect 4.0 GPA

PHILADELPHIA, PA (07/08/2011)(readMedia)-- Phoenixville resident Michael Coleman graduated from Drexel University with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. More than 5,000 students received degrees from Drexel this year at the University's 124th Commencement.
Coleman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel's LeBow College of Business. Coleman attended Phoenixville Area High school.
Mary L. Schapiro, J.D., chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the first woman to serve as the agency's permanent chairman, received an honorary degree and addressed the Class of 2011. Joseph A. Frick, vice chairman and managing partner of Diversified Search, an executive search firm headquartered in Philadelphia, and vice chair of the Independence Blue Cross (IBC) Board of Directors, also received an honorary degree at the ceremony.
Founded in 1891 in Philadelphia, Drexel is the nation's 14th largest private university and is ranked second among national universities in the U.S. News list of "Up-and-Comers." Drexel is widely recognized for its focus on experiential learning through its co-operative education program and translational research initiatives.
