Physicians for Peace Announces New Additions to Board of Trustees

NORFOLK, VA (07/13/2007)(readMedia)-- Norfolk, Va. (July 6, 2007) — Physicians for Peace, a Norfolk-based international non-profit organization focusing on medical education in developing nations, announced that two new members have joined its Board of Trustees. The new board members are:
• J. Morgan Davis, of Virginia Beach, President and CEO of TowneBank’s Towne Financial Services Group.
• Dr. Thomas Gampper, of Charlottesville, who holds the position of Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Virginia Health System.
“We are pleased to welcome aboard these two new members of the board,” said Physicians for Peace CEO Brig. Gen. Ron Sconyers (U.S.A.F., Ret.). “The time and dedication they will bring to our activities will be a great help in carrying out our mission to bring medical care to underserved populations around the world.”
