Physicians for Peace Relocates Headquarters

The Organization Moved to New Office on July 31

NORFOLK, VA (08/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Physicians for Peace has moved its headquarters on West Bute Street to the BB&T Building at 500 East Main Street on the 9th Floor. The move was completed on July 31, at the expiration of the organization's lease at the Wainwright Building in the Freemason District of the city.

"Because of the competitive nature of the current real estate market, Physicians for Peace is able move into these facilities with more space and functionality at a very favorable cost," said Ron Sconyers, President and CEO of Physicians for Peace. "At this new location the organization will also benefit from becoming more centralized in the downtown Norfolk business community."
