Physicians for Peace to Relocate Headquarters

The Organization will Move to New Office by end of July

NORFOLK, VA (06/09/2010)(readMedia)-- Physicians for Peace is moving its headquarters from West Bute Street to the BB&T Building at 500 East Main Street, 9th Floor. The move will be completed on July 31, upon expiration of the organization's current lease at the Wainwright Building in the Freemason District of the city.

"Because of the competitive nature of the current real estate market, Physicians for Peace is able to move into these facilities with more space and functionality at a very favorable cost," said Ron Sconyers, President and CEO of Physicians for Peace. "At this new location, the organization will also benefit from becoming more centralized in the downtown Norfolk business community."

Change of address effective July 31, 2010:

Physicians for Peace, 500 East Main Street, Suite 900 Norfolk, VA 23510

(Main phone and fax will not change)
