Lecture, music, dance celebrates Native American Heritage Month

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (11/07/2012)(readMedia)-- In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, Elizabethtown College's Sociology and Anthropology Department, Office of Diversity and Dean of Faculty host the Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the College's K?V.

The event, which is free and open to the public, includes authentic American Indian vocal music, drumming, dancing and a lecture.

The Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers are regular performers at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian and frequently contribute to television programs on the History and Discovery channels.
