Plainfield's Jon Rosenbaum named NACC Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (10/30/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University junior midfielder Jon Rosenbaum (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central City H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week.

Rosenbaum led AU to a 3-0 week with wins over Rockford University (8-0), Benedictine University (4-0), and Wisconsin Lutheran College (6-1). He had five goals, including a hat trick in the Spartans win at Benedictine, and an assist on the week.

On the season, Rosenbaum has six goals, one being a game-winning goal, and two assists. AU is currently 11-5-3 overall and 6-2-2 in the NACC.

Next action for the Spartan men's soccer team comes on Saturday, November 2 when they host the opening round of the 2013 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. AU will be the No. 3 or No. 4 seed, and be an opening round host. The opponent and game time on Vago Field will be determined later this week.
