Plymouth resident Richard Manzi receives BoSox scholarship to Saint Anselm College

MANCHESTER, NH (07/09/2012)(readMedia)-- Richard Manzi, a Saint Anselm College student from Plymouth, New Hampshire, was selected to receive the $5,000 Dominic DiMaggio Scholarship from the BoSox Club, the official booster blub of the Boston Red Sox. Manzi is a senior majoring in education studies and hopes to teach middle school math. He is captain of the college baseball team and volunteers as a Big Brother through the college's Meelia Center for Civic Engagement. This summer, he is participating in the New York Collegiate Baseball League.
Dominic DiMaggio, a player for the Red Sox and a long time supporter of Saint Anselm College, was one of the founders of the club in 1967 and its first president. The BoSox Club has given an annual scholarship to a Saint Anselm College student every year since 2008.
