SCHENECTADY, NY (03/06/2012)(readMedia)-- Take a dip in Lake Champlain on Saturday, March 24. The 3rd annual "Fling into Spring" Polar Plunge and lunch begins at 11 a.m. in Essex.

Be part of the fun in the North Country. Jump in the lake (be a plunger and collect pledges) or pledge a plunger.

"Last year's Polar Plunge raised $3,700 and the excitement is growing," said Susan Bacot-Davis, event host. "More plungers and more donations help Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson provide vital services in Essex County, including contraception, sex education, and support for sexual assault victims."
