Public reception spotlights heritage, nature, wellness, cuisine in historic Adirondack lakes, lodges region
LAKE CLEAR, NY (06/10/2016)(readMedia)-- Neighboring businesses and organizations will gather Tuesday, June 28, to showcase the unique character of the region that lies between Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake and Malone.
More than a dozen exhibitors will participate, including the Saranac Inn Golf Club, The Point, White Pine Camp, Paul Smith's College, Rail Explorers USA, the Lake Clear Lodge and historic organizations and museums. Program highlights include:
- Special announcements from Paul Smith's College, Rail Explorers USA and the Lake Clear Lodge, including opportunities for expanded tourism and recreation; new program partnerships among area institutions; and a regional collaboration to explore and celebrate our Adirondack heritage cuisine
- Interpretive exhibits and displays
- Tastings of authentic Adirondack cuisine
