R. Joseph Woodrow Joins Mohawk Valley Community College Faculty

UTICA, NY (09/21/2010)(readMedia)-- R. Joseph Woodrow, of Richfield Springs, recently joined the faculty at Mohawk Valley Community College, where he is teaching classes for the Center for Life and Health Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and an M.S. and B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Woodrow is a member of the Empire State Association of Two-Year College Biologists, a member of the Entomological Society of America, the Mid-York Mycological Society, and Past President for both the Hawaiian Entomological Society,and the Rock and Mineral Society of Hawaii.

 With campuses in Utica, Rome, and online, Mohawk Valley Community College is New York State's first community college and one of its fastest growing, with enrollment growth of more than 20% over the last three years.
