Rachel Von Arx Receives Ripon College Dorothea Wilgus Pickard Prize
RIPON, WI (05/06/2010)(readMedia)-- Rachel Von Arx, a junior majoring in English and studio art from Caledonia, Minn., was named the recipient of the 2010 Dorothea Wilgus Pickard Prize during a ceremony held April 21, 2010 at Ripon College.
The Dorothea Wilgus Pickard Prize recognizes the student who has done the best work in creative writing. The prize, given in memory of a trustee of the College, includes a letter of credit toward the purchase of books.
Von Arx is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Von Arx of Caledonia, Minn.
