Raniszewski Earns Master's Degree from Coker College
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - (01/02/2014)(readMedia)-- Russell Raniszewski recently earned a master's degree in college athletic administration from Coker College. Raniszewski was part of six individuals that made up the first class to receive a graduate degree from the institution.
Raniszewski is a native of Stafford, Va., but resides in Florence, S.C. He is a physical education teacher, varsity football coach and girls basketball assistant coach at West Florence High School. Raniszewski earned a Bachelor of Science in physical education with a concentration in sports management from Coker.
Beginning in May 2012, the Master of Science in college athletic administration became the first graduate program offered at Coker College. It is an 18-month, online-based program. The program balances theory with real-world experience and provides students with a strong foundation of knowledge in areas such as NCAA compliance regulations, sport communication, sport law, recruiting of coaches and athletes, fundraising, sport business management and sport marketing.
