Rebecca Danis Earns Award From Wells College

Local Student Awarded Helen Gertrude Dean '25 Prize For Dramatic Expression

AURORA , NY (06/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Rebecca Danis, of Westborough, has been awarded the Wells College Helen Gertrude Dean '25 Prize for Dramatic Expression. Danis, a recent graduate of Wells with a degree in theatre/dance with a minor in art history, earned the award for her versatility and depth as an actor during her four years at Wells, and for her role as Eliza Doolittle in Shaw's Pygmalion.

Established in 1925 by Helen Gertrude Dean '25, the prize is awarded to a member of the senior class who has exhibited the best efforts in dramatics, represented by characterization and expression.
