Rebecca McNally named Missouri S&T Honors Academy Fellow
ROLLA, MO (05/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Rebecca McNally of Jefferson City, Mo., has been named an Honors Academy Fellow for 2011 by Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T).
To qualify for the designation, students must be members of Missouri S&T's Honors Academy, complete 12 hours of honors course credit and an honors senior thesis, and maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
McNally will graduate Saturday, May 7, with a bachelor's degree in business and management systems with an emphasis in marketing and a certificate in systems, applications and products (SAP).
A member of the S&T track and cross country teams, McNally also has served on the university's Student Athletic Advisory Committee for the last three years. She also was a member of the Chancellor's Leadership Academy and studied abroad in Finland and Russia.
For her honors thesis, McNally analyzed ways for Rolla to better attract business for conferences and events. Her research was also shared with the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce.
