Reginald Pittman of Lexington Park Awarded Warner S. Ashby Endowment
ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (01/06/2014)(readMedia)-- Reginald Pittman, a Lexington Park, Md., native and first-year student at St. Mary's College of Maryland, was recently awarded the Roberts Family Financial Aid Endowment. The endowment was established in 2013 by Eveline and William P. Roberts, III.
At St. Mary's College of Maryland, Pittman is studying economics. He plans to attend graduate school to become a certified public accountant.
Outside of the classroom, Pittman is a member of the men's basketball team. He enjoys sports and also loves to play the drums.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
