COLUMBUS, OH (08/21/2009)(readMedia)-- Kelly Hamilton, of Columbus, Ohio, has been elected to serve as treasurer of the charter board for the American Lung Association of the Midland States. A certified public accountant, Hamilton was formerly a vice president with Nationwide Insurance. She has a long history of community service, and a special interest in asthma and other lung health issues. Hamilton also on the finance committee for American Lung Association national board.

The American Lung Association of the Midland States serves Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan, with headquarters in Columbus, OH.

Other Midland States charter board officers elected for the 2009-10 fiscal year were:
