Republican State Committee to Hold 2007 Chairman's Cup

ALBANY, NY (08/12/2007)(readMedia)-- New York Republican State Committee Chairman Joseph N. Mondello today announced that State Committee will hold the eighth Annual Chairman’s Cup on September 10th at the Edison Golf Club in Rexford, New York.

“Continuing the tradition of the Chairman’s Cup will help our ongoing efforts to rebuild and re-energize the state Republican Party in New York,” said Chairman Mondello. “It will be a great day for Republican supporters to get together and raise funds to help get our message out, and I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the day.”

Hosts for the event include: Chemung County Executive Thomas J. Santulli, Dutchess County Executive William Steinhaus, Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, Onondaga County Executive Nicholas Pirro, Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana, Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino, Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef, and Nassau County Republican Committee First Vice Chair Joseph G. Cairo, Jr.

Senate Majority Leader Joseph L. Bruno is expected to attend.

Chairman’s Cup events include: 10:30am Registration, Lunch at 11:30am, Shot-gun Start at 1:00pm, and a buffet dinner and prizes following the tournament.
