Republican State Committee to Hold “Day at the Races” Fundraiser

ALBANY, NY (08/16/2007)(readMedia)-- New York Republican State Committee Chairman Joseph N. Mondello announced that State Committee will hold its annual “Day at the Races” fundraiser on Friday, August 24 at the historic Saratoga Racetrack in Saratoga Springs.

“Continuing the tradition of a ‘Day at the Races’ at the beautiful and historic Saratoga Racetrack will effectively continue our efforts to raise funds to help get our message out about bedrock Republican ideals like cutting taxes, creating jobs and commonsense criminal justice measures to keep our streets safe,” said Chairman Mondello. “The Carousel is an ideal location to enjoy the races and talk about ways to rebuild and revitalize our Republican party here in New York.”

The event will be hosted by Chairman Mondello and Saratoga Republican County Committee Chairman John “Jasper” Nolan. Senate Majority Leader Joseph L. Bruno is expected to attend.

The event will be held at the Carousel at Saratoga Racetrack. An All Day Buffet will be served from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Dress is Paddock Casual.
