Ribbons Awarded in Iowa State Fair Duroc Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2014)(readMedia)-- David Martin of Marion exhibited the Grand Champion Boar in the Duroc Swine show judged Friday at the 2014 Iowa State Fair.

Stewart's Duroc Farm of Waverly exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Boar.

Rondald Meister of Kingsley claimed Grand Champion Gilt honors while RAR Genetics of Aplington exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Gilt.

Premier Exhibitor honors went to Matt and Tom Welk of Letts. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
