DES MOINES, IA (09/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Contestants battled for top honors in the Iowa State Fair Sheep Shearing contest judged August 13 at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.

Each contestant sheared four sheep in the preliminary round and an additional four in the finals.
