Richard Mercurio honored by Hartwick College

Richard Mercurio of Smithtown, NY, was presented with multiple awards during Hartwick College's spring recognition ceremonies.

During Honors Convocation on May 3, Mercurio was presented with the Richard K. Meeker Award in English. Established in memory of the late Professor Richard K. Meeker, the award recognizes an outstanding senior majoring in English.

At the College's Athletics Award ceremony held on May 11, Mercurio received the True Blue Award, acknowledging him as a four-year letter winner. Mercurio is a Hartwick Hawks football team member.
