Richard Zicko Recognized for Academic Excellence by Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, MA (05/22/2012)(readMedia)-- Richard J. Zicko of Franklin was recently honored for his academic achievement during the Presidential Scholars Program ceremony at Western New England University. Zicko is the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Zicko.

Zicko is currently a senior at Learning Prep School and plans to study Biomedical Engineering at Western New England's College of Engineering. He is active in yearbook and chess club.

Western New England University's Presidential Scholars Program provides financial support to incoming freshmen based on outstanding academic achievement. Students are awarded four-year scholarships based upon their high school grade point average and SAT or ACT scores.
