Ridenour Receives Wells Fargo Scholarship

FULTON, MO (12/20/2012)(readMedia)-- David Ridenour of Montgomery City, Mo., was the recipient of a scholarship from Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) in recognition of her efforts and achievements at William Woods University.
Missouri Colleges Funds assists private colleges and universities in Missouri by working with private donors to secure scholarship opportunities. Money for the $1,500 scholarship came from Wells Fargo.
Ridenour graduated Dec. 15 from at William Woods, where he majored in business administration, with finance, advertising and marketing concentrations. He was employed as a work study assistant for the business division at William Woods and as a unit clerk at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Mo. He was also a marketing intern for Midwest Independent Bancshares, Inc., a holding company in Jefferson City.
A member of many campus organizations, Ridenour has been a University Ambassador, Freshman Advantage mentor, Community Adviser and member of SWAT (the Student Website Advancement Team). In his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, Ridenour has been public relations chair, historian, alumni relations chair, social chairman and external vice president.
Ridenour has been involved extensively with Up 'til Dawn as an executive board member. He has been public relations chair, recruitment assistant director and executive director for the organization. Up 'til Dawn is a charity that raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. During Ridenour's four years at William Woods University, the organization has raised more than $30,000.
