Robert Leiby makes a presentation at Medieval and Early Modern Studies conference

LOCK HAVEN, PA (12/16/2010)(readMedia)-- On Saturday, Dec. 6 Robert Leiby, son of Robert H. Leiby Jr. and Susan M. Leiby, presented his essay "The Evolution of the Sword through the Middle Ages" at Moravian College's 5th Undergraduate Conference on Medieval and Early Modern Studies in Bethlehem, PA. Robert is a sophomore history major at Lock Haven University. His paper was written for Dr. Holle Canatella's course on medieval European history.

Over 300 presenters and observers from universities and colleges throughout the northeast and beyond attended the conference. "Robert and his fellow students handled questions from the audience with grace and intelligence. I was very impressed and am proud of their work," Dr. Canatella said.
